September line-up

Friday 7 September – MOTH 4th Birthday Show
This Way North, Charm of Finches, Jack The Fox,
Alana Wilkinson

Four artists/acts will help us celebrate at our fourth anniversary show.

It’s easy to forget that This Way North is a two-piece band. Drummer/vocalist Cat Leahy and guitarist/vocalist Leisha Jungalwalla create a uniquely full, expansive sound that translates effortlessly from the studio to the stage. Fresh from their 2 month New Zealand and Canadian tour, This Way North play their first show back on Aussie soil at Music on the Hill’s 4th birthday show and are ready to bring the party!

Sister duo Charm of Finches sing angelic harmonies: haunted folk tunes about heartache, solitude and whispering trees.

Melbourne duo Jack The Fox captivate audiences through a magnetic combination of emotive acoustic-folk, soul, blues and funk. After releasing their first single ‘Brother’ which made waves both internationally and on home soil on Spotify the pair are gearing up to drop a fresh new collection of sonic soundscapes with the release of their upcoming debut EP ‘Open Water’.

Itching to get back to sing and giggle with the wonderful MOTH audience, Alana Wilkinson returns to help us celebrate at Music On The Hill’s 4th Birthday Bash before her Queenscliff Music Festival appearances.

This will be a fundraiser event for much-needed staging equipment.
