Due to the first Friday of April being on Good Friday, The next MOTH takes place on SATURDAY 4 April.

Lisa Miller and Shane O’Mara will be the headline act with support by female singer songwriter Cookie Baker.

Lisa Miller is acclaimed by critics and fans alike throughout Australia as a sublime songwriter, possessed of a blue-eyed, broken-hearted voice which is utterly distinctive.

9 times ARIA nominee, Lisa Miller does more than just deliver words and a tuneful melody, she gives the songs she sing a colour and a pathos that is utterly distinctive. There are very few others with the ability to convey such a degree of soulful feeling, and who are able to write songs that cut so close to the heart of the matter. To listen to Lisa Miller is to hear your very own story put to song.

“A songwriter par excellence” The Age
“Such grace and simplicity, with such intimacy and honesty – lyrical and musical – that it insinuates itself into your life completely” Sydney Morning Herald
“Sublime vocal skills” Herald Sun

Lisa will be accompanied by long time guitarist and producer Shane O’Mara.

Singer/songwriter Cookie Baker is a pint-sized force to be reckoned with. She has a heart as big as the raven hair on her head, and she’ll spoil you rotten with heartbreaking tales of lost love, found habits and suddenly finding your best friend REALLY attractive. If you like your toes to curl with pleasure whilst you bawl into your cup of tea (or absinthe), you’ll do just fine with Cookie Baker.

Local singer songwriter Brendon Mellere will open the night at 7.30pm.
